Who can apply
Applicants must:
- be Yukon producers;
- be able to demonstrate a commitment to effectively managing attractants that could lead to wildlife conflicts;
- have suffered eligible livestock lost due to predation or loss of crops due to wildlife (damage caused by waterfowl and big game)
Eligible livestock lost due to predation:
- cattle, sheep, goats, swine, elk, bison, llamas, alpaca and rabbits.
- domestic poultry: turkey, chicken, quail.
- other species may be eligible at the discretion of the Agriculture Branch.
