In-Kind Support
Description:
Farm In-Kind Support Services provides Yukon farmers with information and advice on:
• farm management,
• production and best management practices,
• pest and weed identification,
• pesticide use,
• fertilizer needs and alternatives,
• marketing,
• conservation techniques and organic practices,
• new technologies, and
• farm financing.
We usually provide this service as part of a farm visit or field inspection. We can also give you information or advice by phone or email. Our advice is based on industry best management practices and our research.

Eligibility:
Applicants must:
1. be producers;
2. demonstrate a commitment to effectively managing attractants that could lead to wildlife conflicts;
3. have eligible livestock lost due to predation;
4. have eligible crops lost due to wildlife;
5. reside in Yukon.
