Good Energy Program
The Good Energy Program offers rebates for upgrades to commercial, institutional and community buildings.

Amount
Large commercial projects (businesses): up to 25% of eligible project costs, to a limit of $6,000 per ton of CO2 reduced per year; up to 40%, to a limit of $8,500 per ton of CO2 per year, for biomass and heat pumps in existing buildings and for projects modelled to reduce emissions by 50% or more

Who can apply
Applicants must be:
- businesses;
- non-profit or non-government organizations including condominium corporations and religious organizations;
- municipal governments; and
- First Nation governments.
- owners and tenants of new and existing:
a) commercial
b) institutional and;
c) community buildings
About the funding
Non-profits, NGOs and not-for-profit condo corporations: up to 50%, to a limit of $12,000 per ton of CO2 per year. First Nations governments and development corporations, municipal governments and territorial Crown corporations: up to 60%, to a limit of $14,500 per ton of CO2 per year. Small commercial projects (windows, appliances, ventilators, insulation, heat pumps, biomass, solar hot water) have their own per-item rebates on the linked rebate pages.
