Yukon Historic Properties Assistance Program (HPA)

The Historic Properties Assistance Program (HPA) assists and encourages individuals, community groups, societies, Yukon First Nations and businesses to become involved in the heritage preservation process. 

Comments on Funding:

1. Funding takes the form of grants of up to $10,000 per year, per project and is provided on a matching basis.
2. Properties that are designated as national, territorial or municipal historic sites may be eligible for funding up to a maximum of $20,000.

The number of successful applicants affects the amount of funding available for each project.
Funding limits are determined annually.

Deadline: March 1 (annually)

Applicants must:

  • be applicants who own historically significant properties.
  • have projects that include work to preserve, restore, develop or interpret these properties.
