Description:
The Performing Musicians Fund supports activities that help Yukon musicians build sustainable careers in the music industry.
Comments on Funding:
You can receive up to 75 per cent of your cash expenses up to a maximum of:
1. $10,000 per fiscal year for emerging musician activities; and
2. $30,000 per fiscal year for established musician activities.
The total funding you receive from the Government of Yukon cannot exceed 75 per cent of your activity’s total cash costs.

Eligibility:
Applicants must be:
1. Yukon resident musicians as an individual or as a business.
2. At least 50% of the members of a duo or group must be Yukon residents to be eligible.
3. One can apply for funding as:
a) an emerging musician who has limited performance experience; or
b) an established musician who has:
i) significant performance experience outside of the Yukon;
ii) a track record of successfully promoting commercially released music outside of the Yukon; and
iii) a consistent income from musician activities.
Application Steps:
Applicants must:
1. Download and complete the application form.
2. Submit the application and all required documentation, including the Yukon residency declaration.
