Description:

The program support crop and livestock development opportunities including:
• Economic development programming for sectors with growth
opportunities.
• Regional economic development opportunities.
• Establishing agricultural machinery usage cooperatives.

Comments on Funding:

Level of Assistance:
Provincial economic development opportunities
• Up to 50% of eligible costs to a max of $150,000 per sector-based
development project per year.
Regional economic development opportunities
• Up to 50% of eligible costs to a maximum of $ 60,000 per year.
Contributions towards any individual piece(s) of equipment
required within the project shall not exceed 30%. The maximum
contribution for individual or group projects over the life of the
program shall not exceed $120,000

Eligibility:

Applicants must be:

1. Agricultural industry associations
2. Agricultural producer (individuals or groups)
3. Resident of the Province of New Brunswick who is at least 19
years of age.
4. Project location is within the Province of New Brunswick
5. Project benefits the Province of New Brunswick
