Fruit and Vegetable Industry Development Program 2026–2027 Program Description/ Objectives To encourage and support New Brunswick fruit and mixed vegetable producers who want to increase production by providing
financial assistance for:
1. adopting season extension and Controlled Environment
Agriculture (CEA) technologies;
1. enhancing storage capacity;
2. investing in on-farm equipment to improve efficiencies
or build productioncapacity, and
1. investing in commercial irrigation equipment.

Amount
40% for all program elements (A, B, C and D), with a maximum combined contribution per year based on gross farm revenue (most recent tax return): Under $10,000: $5,000 $10,000–$29,999: $10,000 $30,000–$49,999: $15,000 $50,000–$99,999: $25,000 $100,000–$249,999: $40,000 $250,000–$499,999: $75,000 Over $500,000: $100,000 Projects that demonstrate exceptional potential may be approved for a higher maximum funding contribution.
