Description:
This Program offers an incentive to business or industrial customers and contractors towards the purchase and installation of Demand Control Kitchen Ventilation. This product uses advanced sensors and variable speed controls to ramp up ventilation during busy preparation periods, and wind down ventilation during slower periods, significantly cutting back natural gas and electrical energy usage.

1. Retrofit – up to $9,000;
2. New Construction – up to $4,400.

Eligibility:
Applicants must be:
1. Commercial kitchen demand-controlled ventilation system with rated capacity not greater than 15,000 CFM, consisting of sensor(s) that determine the level of contaminant in the exhaust air stream
2. a controller that processes inputs from the sensor(s), and variable frequency drives that receive a signal from the controller and modulate the exhaust and make-up air fans to optimize flow rates are eligible.
