Description:
The Tour Support Grant – Live Performing Arts supports commercially viable touring opportunities for eligible Saskatchewan live performances touring in Canada and abroad.
Comments on Funding:
1. Applicants may apply for a maximum of $15,000 or 50% of the total eligible cash budget, whichever is the lesser.
2. Applicants are eligible for a maximum of two Tour Support Grants per year.
Application deadlines vary per creative sector.
Eligibility:
Applicants must:
1. be from all the live performing arts and music sectors supported by Creative Saskatchewan;
2. be Saskatchewan musicians;
3. be Saskatchewan theater companies;
4. be Saskatchewan corporations;
5. be Saskatchewan individuals or residents;
6. be active practitioners in one of the creative industries identified under The Creative Saskatchewan Act (2013) (see general guidelines);
7. demonstrate their intention to earn their living within their chosen creative industry, as well as their ambition to grow their business beyond their current status;
8. have commercially viable touring opportunities in Canada and abroad.
Application Steps:
Applicants must:
1. Review and complete the Phase One: Application Completeness and Phase Two: Application Material Assessment criteria on the program website.
These criteria are assessed internally by Creative Saskatchewan staff.
2. complete an application through the Online Grant Management System (GMS)
