Yukon Early Learning and Child Care Funding Program: Child Care Operational Funding – Quality Program Enhancements
This program provides support to early learning and child care centres in the Yukon by providing funding to offset early learning fees and the cost of operating high quality programs. The intent of this funding is to help support centres create high-quality early learning programs by supporting the costs of materials, supplies, and equipment.

Quality funding per child, based on how many children are enrolled and/or licensed capacity: Whitehorse area $97.33 to $206.10 (programs without a meal program) or $129.39 to $238.16 (programs with a nutritional meal program); rural programs $114.33 to $242.10 (without a meal program) or $151.99 to $298.59 (with a nutritional meal program)

Applicants must:
- be licensed child care operators;
- be promoting high-quality early learning environment;
- be established in Whitehorse and in rural communities of Yukon.
Not eligible:
Programs that charge an additional fee to parents/caregivers for a nutritional meal program are not eligible
to receive the additional meal funding in this category
