About the funding
This is a cash-in-lieu of parking program.
Offers an exemption or reduction in parking requirements for developments that include a substantial affordable housing component. The amount of parking to be reduced is set in the agreement. Cash-in-lieu of parking will not be needed; to satisfy the legislative requirement for a monetary payment, a nominal amount (such as $2.00) will be charged, to be specified in the agreement to validate the contract.
