Enhancement Fund: Radon Mitigation Funding

Description:
You can apply to the radon mitigation fund for help with the costs of radon mitigation for your:
a) child care centre; or
b) family day home.
Comments on Funding:
Funding takes the form of grants of up to $15,000 for licensed child care centres and up to $3,000 for licensed family day homes.

Eligibility:
Applicants must:
1. be licensed child care centres; or
2. be family day homes;
3. be established in Yukon.
Application Steps:
Applicants must:
1. download the application form;
2. talk to the Early Learning and Child Care Unit about their application. Call Early Learning and Child Care Unit at 867-667-3492 or toll free 1-800-661-0408, extension 3492. They can also talk to their child care inspector;
3. send the completed application to:

Documentation Needed:
Applicants must submit:
1. a completed application form;
2. written quotes;
3. all the required documents, as requested.
Other Things to Note:
Each licensed child care program can only apply for funding from the Enhancement Fund once every fiscal year.
Our fiscal year is from April 1 to March 31.
